MAJOR LIFE BLOWS

Harry Miles and his sister became orphans when he was 12 years old, and a drunk driver killed their parents.

Harry was devastated.

Harry was very grateful when Morris and his wife took both Harry and his sister, Rose, in and adopted them.

At the beginning of his Junior year in High School, Harry and his best friend, Roger, who could amaze his AA High School football fans with impressive plays. Roger could run a mile in less than 4 minutes barefoot.

Mid-season, Roger is diagnosed with lung cancer and dies during the summer between their Junior and Senior years.

Harry is devastated once again.

At the beginning of his senior year, Harry signed a contract to enlist in the Air Force as an Electronics Technician upon graduating from High School. Shortly afterward, Morris, his wife, and Harry’s sister are killed by a drunk driver in a traffic accident.

Once again, Harry receives a major life blow.

To help pay the funeral expenses, Harry requests immediate entry into the Air Force and is accepted as a motorpool driver.

The book, REDEMPTION, begins as 17-year-old Harry is standing in front of three freshly covered graves.

Little does he realize the greatest MAJOR LIFE BLOW awaits him.

Will this be the straw that breaks the camel’s back?

Or will Harry overcome it and find REDEMPTION?
